Painting Lesson - Sample Board - I had the opportunity to teach a 4 hour painting lesson to 2 undergraduate first years in Fall 2020. I focused on 3 styles of wood: Dry Brush Woodgrain, Rocker and Rag Woodgrain, and Wet Brush and Spatter Drag Woodgrain. This is the step by step sample board I used to explain the process to the students.
Painting Lesson - 4 hour Session Sample Board - This is the board I painted while I taught the lesson. Not only did the students have a step-by-step reference to follow, but they had the live demo to actually see technique, amount of paint, and other factors as they followed along.
Painting Lesson - All Finished Boards from first year students, a second year graduate student, and myself. The intimate environment (while still maintaining social distancing between the 3 students) allowed me to cater my discussion of technique and critique for each individual throughout the full 4 hour lesson.

Alebrije Puppet -Finished - Painting finished, mounted on a dowel. Wooden bead and circles for the eyes, ribbon tongue, all three applied with hot glue.
